Our tomatoes are
grown from seed sourced from around the world. They are lovingly nurtured in the
propagation room and are then bought on in the greenhouse.
Available
as fruit when in season or as plants for
growing on at home - priced at £1.20
per plant.
We usually have around 50 varieties available all grown organically, and for taste.
Every year about
1/3rd of tomatoes grown are new (to Bell & Bird Table) and being trialled
for taste and possible future permanent status.
This year there
are many new varieties (see below) of which many are available as plants for sale. Especially many more Patio or Pot Tomatoes suitable for small areas.
