July 29th 2010 2010 pigs growing well and relishing any spare apples - all helps the flavour!!As a result of the TV programme, Anne is being asked to give talks on tomatoes by local gardening clubs. The magazine "Great British Food" will be featuring the Bell & Birdtable tomatoes in the August issue. This year we have 60 varieties of tomatoes - some new varieties which look particularly interesting are MARITIME PINK, MARIANNA'S PEACE and VIRGINIA SWEETS. August 3rd 2009 Anne appeared on television this evening. The program was BBC2's "What to Eat Now" with Valentine Warner and featured our range of 50+ tomato varieties. The 10 minute section involved a tomato tasting and a pizza cooking demonstration.
